Verbal History Repository

Some of this history was never written down. It lives in the people who were there — who started the church, who preached the revival, who was related to whom. This is the place to tell it: put your name on a short form, then talk, the way you would tell it at the table.

Every story goes to a private research archive first. Nothing is published automatically — a person reviews every story, and a story appears in the public library only when you have given permission and it has passed that review. Published stories live in the Verbal History library, part of the Repository.

Tell it

Record it in your own voice right here, upload a recording you already have, or type it — whichever is easiest. Take all the time you want; there are no wrong answers and no need to sound polished.

Tell any story you want.

When you are ready, tap Record and just talk. If the phone or browser asks about the microphone, tap Allow.

Your permission

Nothing is published automatically. A person reviews every story first, and a story is published only with your permission above. You can ask us later to correct a story or take a published story down.
