About This Site

Acts 238 Life is a public repository of Apostolic doctrine, history, and writings, with a directory of Apostolic churches. It exists to gather in one place material that is otherwise scattered across organizational websites, out-of-print books, and denominational archives.

What Is Here

The site is organized in four parts: doctrine, the foundational teachings of the Apostolic faith; history, a timeline of the Apostolic movement; writings, an index of Apostolic authors and their works; and churches, a directory of more than 5,500 Apostolic congregations in the United States and Canada.

How It Is Built

The directory and research sections grow out of an ongoing organizational research project covering the United Pentecostal Church International, the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship, along with independent Oneness churches. Facts are drawn from published sources — organizational locators, official histories, and the works indexed here — and conflicting figures from different sources are kept labeled by source rather than blended.

Who Maintains It

Acts 238 Life is maintained by Samuel Hodum. Content is published only after his review and approval.
