Verbal History Library

Stories of the Oneness Pentecostal world, told in the tellers’ own voices — the founding of churches, the revivals, the families, the things the written record never kept. Every story here was published with its teller’s permission and after a person reviewed it.

Tell your story → Put your name on a short form, then talk. It takes as long as the story takes.

The first stories are being collected now. As they are told, reviewed, and cleared by their tellers, they will appear here.

About this library

Stories are told, not written — so they carry the teller’s memory as they remember it. Where a told story and the published record differ, both stand as they are; nothing here is silently blended. A teller may ask at any time for a published story to be corrected or taken down, and it will be.

Each story’s written text is a summary — the substance of what was said, in the teller’s own sequence — checked by a person before publication. The recording itself is the full record, and it is published alongside the summary wherever the teller’s story is audio.
