History
Middleton First United Pentecostal Church began in 1958 with a newly purchased building and a few people who had a desire to begin a work in Middleton, TN. The first service in the small building, that had once been a Methodist church, was held on August 10, 1958. There were 25 people present. The church continued to grow and, in 1961, more land was purchased and a new church was built. This church has been blessed with several different men of God and their lovely wives as leadership, and God has used each one to minister and bless this city in a different way.
2024 was an exciting year for Middleton First United Pentecostal Church. On November 24, 2024, Bro. Bo Callahan and his wife, Sis. Melody, were voted in as Pastor and First Lady with a unanimous vote. Pastor and Sis. Callahan, along with the congregation, started working immediately to make improvements to the building and began working to win souls for the Kingdom of God. Since the Callahans have been voted in, church attendance has grown from 10–15 people each Sunday to 30–40 people and we are seeing new visitors all the time. Good things are continuing to happen!
